Photos, rental price, security deposit, available sizes, rental days and the boutique's own policies, all on one page.

Tell us when your event is and choose a free store-visit slot that suits you. Slots show real-time capacity.

Booking confirmation with QR
Instantly receive a booking code and QR. Find it any time under My bookings, along with the boutique's address and directions.
Step 7
Visit, try, rent directly
Show the QR at the counter, try the outfit on, and rent it directly from the boutique. You pay the boutique; we never touch your money.

Every listing shows the rental price and the refundable deposit. Booking the visit itself costs nothing.

Reserving a store-visit slot is always free. No card, no hold, no hidden fee. Cancel or reschedule any time before your slot.
Rental price
Paid in store
The price to wear the outfit for the listed rental period (typically 3 days). Shown on every listing and paid directly to the boutique if you decide to rent.
Security deposit
Refundable
A refundable amount the boutique holds while you have the outfit. Returned in full when you bring it back on time and in the agreed condition.

Good to know
- You pay the boutique directly in store, by whichever method it accepts. NearbyBoutiques never handles your money.
- Deposits are set by each boutique and shown on the listing. They are usually a fraction of the retail value of the outfit.
- Extending the rental period or booking alterations is arranged with the boutique during your visit.
- If the outfit does not work for you, simply walk out. There is nothing to pay for a visit.
Booking & cancellation policy
Simple rules, fairly applied
Short version: booking is free, cancel any time before your slot, and rentals follow the boutique's listed terms.
Cancelling a visit
Cancel or reschedule a store visit any time before the slot starts from My bookings. Because visits are free, there is nothing to refund. We ask that you cancel at least two hours ahead so the boutique can offer the slot to someone else.
Arriving late or not at all
Slots are held for 15 minutes past the start time. Repeated no-shows (three in 60 days) may pause your ability to book new visits for a short period. Boutiques can also mark a visit as a no-show from their dashboard.
Rental agreements
Once you decide to rent, the agreement is directly between you and the boutique. Rental period, deposit return, damage terms and late fees follow the boutique's own policy, which is shown on each outfit page under Policies.
Addresses and privacy
Some boutiques show only their area publicly and share the exact address once your booking is confirmed. Your contact details are shared with the boutique only for the booking you made.

About NearbyBoutiques
Online discovery for offline boutiques
NearbyBoutiques started life as Rentend, a small experiment in helping people find rental outfits in their own neighbourhood instead of ordering blind from a warehouse hundreds of kilometres away.
We learned that the best rental experience already existed inside local boutiques: the fabric you can touch, the tailor who pins the hem, the owner who knows what works for a sangeet versus a cocktail. What was missing was a way to see all of it in one place.
So we built an online-to-offline marketplace. Boutiques list their real inventory; customers discover it by distance, book a free visit, and rent directly in store. We never sit between you and the boutique on payment, and we never will.
